    Mr. Somnath Modi, Director of JIPL and son of Shri Dilip Kumar Modi started as Management Trainee in early 2009 and today he is leading the organization to reach greater heights. He is a true technocrat while being an alumnus of S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.
    He is a man of principles and a very effective and able administrator. He is well known for his innovative thinking and positive bent of mind. He has been in the continuous limelight for introducing advanced packing technology in the Biscuit Packaging segment that has created a niche in the market. He has ably steered the company through his determined approach and is a firm believer that all problems have solutions if an analytical approach is used. A shrewd thinker and a person of noble character, he generates a tremendous flow of positive energy. A man of boundless energy and dynamism, with a taste for challenging assignments. He is known for contemporary ideas blending superbly with conventional wisdom.

    Born on 14th August 1954, Dilip Kumar Modi is a passionate businessman, a compassionate philanthropist and a well-known personality in the business community in Kolkata.

    Coming from a lower middle-class family he had only a limited formal education, but through his determination and discipline he was able to achieve his childhood dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur. From being a local Coconut Oil trader in Kolkata, Shri. Dilip Kumar Modi emerged as a successful businessman in the FMCG industry by establishing one of the top Biscuit manufacturers from Eastern-India – Jaya Industries Pvt Ltd. He went on to expand the product range from Biscuits to Cakes.

    Jaya Industries Private Limited has become one of the best FMCG conglomerates of Eastern India today. It is established in the year 1996 in Chinsurah, West Bengal. It is through the vision and innovation of Shri. Dilip Kumar Modi, the JIPL has expanded its product range from Biscuits to Cakes and has a very good customer base in the FMCG market especially in Eastern India.

    The company withstood the acute competition in the food Industry by adopting the changing technologies and well-equipped machineries across the globe, thus maintaining high quality product.
